Due to the odd timing of the currents we left Roche Harbor around lunchtime and didn’t feel like going back through Deception Pass and Anacortes.  We chose instead to go South through the Haro Strait and to Port Townsend to make our way home the following day from there. I tend to visit Port Townsend pretty often, either for some sort of boat repair or part or for photography excursions with my friends.  It’s a fun place to visit.  Super scenic and full of interesting shops, fun people, and great coffee.  I feel like I got some different than usual shots this time so that was fun too.  We hung out a little bit longer and then drug our dinghy back off the beach, tossed it into the water, and went back to the boat to read and relax before dinner.
