Jason has been stretching his legs for over a year now and decided that he can finally sit in a proper kayak for more than 5 minutes at a time.  So now he wants one!  He narrowed it down to a brand called Current Designs whose kayaks have more knee room.  Their factory and warehouse is located up in Winona, Minnesota and since it’s *only* a 10 hour drive up there we decided to take a road trip and go buy Jason a boat!

We got a full factory tour, which is always a good time, and the town of Winona is way cuter than I thought it would be! I really like Minnesota… we should just plan a road trip up here to explore sometime! Unfortunately we had plans back home, so we drove up and spent the night and then drove immediately back home.  Lots of driving, but we should have a lot of kayaking trips to blog about in the future!
