While we were anchored in the protected Fossil Bay in Sucia island, Jason and I thought it would be a good idea to drop the kayaks off of the roof and actually go for a paddle instead of carry them on the boat for “roof ornaments” to show off how adventuresome we are.  This would be the first paddle of the season and I’ve forgotten how to be coordinated and how narrow these boats are.  They’re not really beginner kayaks and are pretty tipsy, especially with all the boat traffic, but I finally got my groove back and had a great time hauling ass up and down the bay and doing laps around the boat so dad could take photos of me in my kayak. 🙂
