So after trying to go for a run yesterday and failing due to eating something awful for lunch, I decided to take a few photos for the photo challenge. Welcome to entry #18: Childhood Memory. Shell. We used to go to Florida and various tropical places to escape the awful Oklahoma weather. I like the beach and looking for shells on the beach. Mom used to find me elephants at the antique shops. I think it was mostly to give me something to look for so I wouldn’t get bored so fast so she could shop longer. I still have a soft spot for them. Picked this one up at the thrift store the other day. It’s green glass and looks pretty on the windowsill. Kind of random, but here’s dad’s watch that he’s had pretty much my entire life. Amethyst is my birthstone. Purple isn’t my favorite color, but I love rocks. I still have my rock collection from when I was little, but I got this one when we were on vacation in Utah.
