Sailing? Yes, that’s right! Jason and I bought a sailboat last weekend! 🙂 It’s an Aloha 32 and, surprisingly, I don’t have any good photos of it yet! Apparently random graffiti and cracks in the paint are more interesting to me than our shiny new sailboat.  ::eyeroll:: Just going to have to wait for it! Either way, here are some photos from when we were waiting to see if we got to drive it home or not.

It was a fun, if long, sail home from Shilshole Marina!  We had pretty good wind for a while, unfortunately it was all upwind and we slowly realized that if we wanted to get home before dark, we should put the sails back and just motor her on in.  Took roughly 4 hours and we got home at 7:30 in the dark anyway.  It’s going to be a great little boat! Can’t wait to fix up a few things and then start taking her on epic adventures!

Congratulations on your new boat! Jason should name it “The Ashley” for good luck.

I can’t even tell you how much time I spent at the Locks as a kid. And loved it every time!

My favorite photo is the 3rd one from the last, showing the sheet of rain in black & white. Gorgeous.
