The next entry in the photo challenge that I’m suddenly motivated to finish is: Something You Made.  This is surprisingly hard because while I loooove to make things (literally, the story of my life right here, folks!), I also lack the motivation to finish them.  So this is a collection of half finished paintings, furniture, and my aforementioned ’37 Chevrolet. I suppose they’re just waiting their turn until summer is over and the rain moves in.

Oil painting of a sunset from the coast in Oregon. Got the first layer done and then gave up. 2 years ago.

Yep. This was going to be a Christmas present. I hope to have it done by Christmas 2016. Maybe.

This is a chair I refinished. This one is actually done because all that it needed was some strategic sanding and a clearcoat.

I was stripping the paint off one of those old metal tanker desks to put upstairs. It's still downstairs in pieces and I think I lost all the bolts. I have grand visions of bare steel and a beautiful stained wood top.

Welds are getting better. Truck frame is still on its side in the garage. Don't think we'll be cruising this summer.

Truck parts scattered everywhere. Nothing like a little constructive destruction.

THAT is s BEAUTIFUL weld bead on the truck frame. Even spacing and smooth throughout. Difficult for most people to do on small, round tubing. You would have no trouble getting a welding job anywhere you wanted.

Like I always say, women make the best welders…
