Because I enjoyed paddling the tandem canoe in Missouri so much, Jason and I drove a little ways north to Big Elk Outfitters to rent another tandem and paddle on the Elk river! I still marvel at how clear and beautiful the water is here.  This river had a little more water in it than last time (less scraping around on sharp rocks) but also had a few more rapid sections! I even got splashed pretty good on one of them!
