We were only in Deltaville for the marina air conditioning and since that didn’t work out we left as soon as weather would allow. We ended up in another little anchorage that I don’t remember the name of and did another paddle after anchoring.

It gets shallow! Makes me nervous for really no reason.
Duster being ridiculously adorable

When we bought the boat I thought that the first place the cats would go would be underneath the windshield above the steering wheel.  That area is up high, protected from the wind, sunny and warm, and has a great view. Sounds like kitty heaven, right? Well… apparently not.  Duster wanted nothing to do with it until today when he jumped up there and laid down to take a nap. (Coulda been enjoying it the entire time but you do you…) Everything was peaceful until a gigantic dragonfly flew in and got “trapped” by the windshield. Duster, who hasn’t killed anything in his entire life, sprung to attention and immediately pounced it and carried it in his little mouth to jump down and try to eat it.  Good instincts, but we’re not going to let him eat a giant bug.  Don’t worry, we traded him some turkey for it! Either way, Duster got his first kill!

Bad shot but he got it!
Still wants his kill. Lol
