Norfolk is a really convenient place to stop for a boat. North of the city is the expanse of the Chesapeake Bay and south is the narrow ICW waterway with minimal places to anchor. We stopped for another night to lounge in the air conditioning and get some more excellent food!

Duster isn’t impressed with the boat moving
So many rays swimming in the Chesapeake today!
Being downtown is great because you get all the perks of a big city without having to drive a car in it!
A more artsy shot of the garden

We went for a long walk and ended up a little outside of town where many of the buildings had cool murals on the side!

We woke up early the next morning to time the bridges and make sure we didn’t have to wait an hour for the lock! I got to drink my coffee while sailing by my old office! 🙂

Good morning!
