While we had a ton of fun exploring Annapolis it was time for us to start heading back south. The weather, as usual, wasn’t ideal. The wind kicked up again and we headed into an anchorage called Mill Creek. The problem was that the entrance was long and twisty and because of the wind there were pretty tall choppy waves that did a fantastic job of hiding the field of crab pots. It was a pretty stressful guiding the boat in and at one point we drove right over the top of a float that we didn’t see in time. Luckily we’re a catamaran and the hulls just straddled the float and we came out unscathed! Eventually we made it into the anchorage that was very peaceful and protected from the wind. We did some kayaking and had a very pleasant evening!

Pretty colors though
