The main draw to Shroud Cay aside from the soft sand and crystal clear water is the mangrove rivers that snake through the island. Now that I have my kayak on the boat I really wanted to go exploring!  There are multiple places to moor the boat on Shroud and this time we chose to anchor at the very southern end where we hadn’t been before. We found out that this part of the island is way less popular so the mangroves are largely deserted of other boaters. That made for a fantastic, quiet day on the water.

Ceiling cat is watching you
We got everyone to the beach by sitting mom in the back of Jason’s kayak!
All 3 boats at the beach!
More amazing water
Dads shirt matches the ocean

I promise I didn’t photoshop the water!
We found a huge commercial dock fender on the beach. Worth some money if you want to drag it out.
I was going to buy a spare boat hook when we got back to the states but lucked into finding one on the beach with a paddle on the other end! Huzzah!
Me and dad!
This water is ridiculous!
