Day 2 was spent much like Day 1 with throwing old crap away, organizing crap we want to keep, and taking the rest to the storage shed.  Most of the good pictures were taken yesterday because I spent most of today with paper towels and cleaning spray trying to scrub away the musty smell, caked on dirt, and just generally wash away a few years of neglect. It wasn’t fun at all spraying small hatches with bleach and then shoving my head into them upside down to scrub.  It was a long day!

We used a nasty old mattress topper to throw things off of the boat.
We’re gonna need more trash bags…
the laminate on the stove cover fell off. Awesome.
Just a sampling of the bags of trash.
Throwing it off the back is way easier than carrying it down the ladder.
Still in disarray.
With all the cushions gone, the master bed is finally visible!
The front half of the boat is starting to look acceptable. Not sure why the cover on the little chair doesn’t fit. I’ll have to get my sewing machine out.
you can see the storage behind one of the sofa backs. There’s storage below those too!
So much shit…
More stuff left out for sorting and cleaning.
We’re probably going to have to replace most of the fixtures on the boat. They’re all corroded and gross.
The microwave now falls under the category of “gross kitchen stuff”. There’s also rust on the outside. I’m going to rip it out and throw it away.
View of the stove with the splatter guard. Pretty nice that you can have extra counter top space when you’re not using the stove.

After two days of hard work Jason and I rewarded ourselves with delicious pizza! Although I had a calzone… it was delicious BTW.

yessssssssss.
