Jason and I took the bikes out last Monday and rode the Foothills Trail! It goes from Puyallup to past Buckley and was built on an old railroad grade! We didn’t do the entire thing, just 27 miles of it (in total! including the way back!) but it was a fun way to ease me into long distance biking.  We stopped in Orting and had lunch at Wally’s drive in!  Jason and I both had shakes and burgers and tater tots… We didn’t bike enough to really deserve all of that, but it was still tasty and a fun day playing outside!

Jason’s bike perfectly matches the wall of the diner!
Red umbrellas. We ate outside next to the bikes!
YUM!!!
Wally’s. Your standard old school drive in experience!
Bikes at the train museum!

MEEE!
My fancy new bike!
There were so many old railroad bridges!
Jason chillin.
Down the bridge!

Biking is much more interesting when we get delicious food as a bribe… My next task is to make a route around town between coffee shops. 🙂 I had a blast! Can’t wait to go again!
