After staying the night at the Deer Park Campground overlooking Hurricane Ridge (and having a delicious egg and bacon breakfast!), we headed back down the tight twisty mountain road back to Port Angeles.  I’ve never actually spent any time in Port Angeles at all and since Ian still wanted to work on some photo skills, we decided to check it out and go on a photo walk.

Interesting background, so I made Jason stand there in his bright orange coat
Framing Jason with the tree
A third shot without the tree. Always a good idea to find a nice background and then find a way to use it.

We practiced finding leading lines, the rule of thirds, and backgrounds.  Overall I think it was a successful venture and now I at least have a fun picture of Jason!  I’m always up for a photo walk!
