I learned about the Deer Park campground from a photography Facebook group that I’m a part of. This is apparently where everyone goes to do night photography. The moon was supposed to be a tiny sliver, so I figured we’d give it a shot!
Turns out there were some low level clouds that reflected the light and made our milky way photos not as epic as they could have been, but it was still amazing! We will just have to try again some other night!
The sunrise the next morning started out a blazing hot pink but then slowly fizzled out into practically nothing. I managed to get some photos before the light left.
