Week 52 of what exactly?  This photo challenge topic (that I started last year…) was meant to be the last one in the series and would cover the week of New Year’s Eve! Should be easy shooting, right? You would think so, but Jason and I were still in Tahiti on vacation at the time and didn’t do anything for the holiday.  I kind of mostly forgot about this last topic until now…. which is February. Better late than never!

Every year it seems that I’m on a long haul flight to somewhere the first week of January.  On these boring flights I usually make my yearly bucket list or new year’s resolutions or whatever.  This year was no different. One of the things I want to do this year is progress with my photography and one way to do that is to start entering a few photo contests for motivation.

The topic of this challenge was “joy, hope, peace.”  These photos bring me joy as I remember all the cool places I’ve gone and I hope that I might win something in the photo contest! 😉

…and in case you were wondering, I am absolutely NOT starting another one of these photo challenges this year! It was fun, but also a ton of work.  It’s less stressful to just go shooting at random places when I have free time.  I’m glad I finished it though, even though I was a few months late.
