I haven’t been to St. Augustine since I was like 15 years old.  I remember it being super cool, and then didn’t manage to make it up there the entire time we lived in florida… Go figure.  We spent a few hours running around town.  Would definitely like to make it back down there again and maybe even spend a few days.  There’s a lot of history in the area.  READ THIS. It’s the oldest continuously inhabited city in the United States.  Our first stop was the Castillo de san Marcos, built in 1695.  We got there just as they were going to fire off the last cannon shot of the evening, so that was pretty neat to see.  The guys in charge of the cannon were dressed all historically and everything.
