So I realize I’ve made 2 posts already about the Falling Man petroglyphs in Nevada.  Jason and I went by ourselves once, then we took my parents to see it.  For this third trip, we had some other destinations to check out and brought the parents again for some bonus family bonding time.  Since I’d already shot this area twice now, I decided to have some shenanigans and shoot into the sun, shove my camera into cacti, and play with silhouettes! I had a good time and love being able to show this same area in different ways just through technique and creativity.

Wide angle lens doesn’t show it but I’m pretty much inside this stand of Joshua trees

More sunbursts. They’re harder to get than they appear…

I realize I didn’t actually get any photos of the falling man petroglyph that this area is named after.  Check my other posts for photos of that! 😉 There are so many petroglyphs in this area I keep wanting to go back and see if we can find any more in other spots or inside little caverns.  It’s a really interesting area with mountains, desert, and Joshua trees!
