From Ashland Wisconsin we headed east into Michigan to our campsite at Pete’s Lake.

All set up and ready to go!
Cute little campground host station
The water here is suuuuuper clear!
so many wildflowers
The water is so clear we could see the sunken logs in the marsh

One of the draws to this campground in particular is that it’s right on Bruno’s run trail.  The trail is 11-12 miles (sources disagree on the length!) of beautiful upper peninsula singletrack! We had an excellent time out on our bikes exploring and marveling at the scenery.

Next time we’re up in Michigan I’d love to do this trail again! So much fun!
