After our overly sporty morning kayak adventure we headed back into the town, but on the way decided it was too early to just go back to the camper so we stopped at the golf course again so Jason could play a round while I walked with him. The golf itself is boring, but I enjoyed seeing all the adorable little vacation cabins with their cottage-y landscaping.
From the golf course we headed into the town of Hoodsport, WA located right where the road turns North up the other side of the Hood Canal and the road that goes to Olympic National Park. It’s a tiny town, really only a handful of buildings, but we stopped and got a coffee. Back at the campground we crossed the street and explored the waterfront side of camp before returning to our little camper to call it a day!
