It’s been an embarrassingly long time since I’ve actually sat down and painted anything but since moving to Arkansas it’s been on my list of things to do!

To kick things off with a bang my friends Victoria and Deb arranged a painting night! We all painted different things and this was my first time really using acrylic paint but I had a great time! I started with a seascape but added the little sailboat because why not?

It’s been rainy and snowy and cold and sad in Arkansas and I got on a huge kick with my watercolor paints and pencils! I started painting crystals and had a lot of fun with those.
