So we’ve been biking *a lot* and slowly getting back into biking shape after sitting on a boat for 3 years. However, that all takes time and to get better, you must first suffer. That’s what this trail was. It was hard and long and steep and I was ready to be done halfway into it, but… the truck is kind of far so we’ve got to finish it out. At one point we ended up at the bridge that crosses over Tanyard Creek with a fantastic view of the waterfall. We took a break from the bikes to eat some snacks and look at the water. (I found some gummy bears and a clif bar of indeterminate age in my Camelbak.)
The water is super low right now so the falls are less than impressive, unfortunately.
Those were the only photos we stopped long enough to take and finished out our ride about an hour later as we crawled back to the truck. Maybe next time it will be easier? And maybe soon there will be some water in the creek so I can get better pictures of the waterfall!
