So fun fact… Bentonville has almost as strong a coffee and bicycle culture as Seattle! (which has been pretty dang cool!) One of the local landmarks is the Meteor Cafe, which is a super chic coffee shop with a bike shop in the lower half.  It’s just over an 11 mile ride from our house and mostly on the Greenway, so we don’t even have to deal with cars.  The outside of the cafe is lined with bike stands and there are always unique bicycles and groups of riders coming and going.  It’s an excellent place to stop for a latte and some people watching before the next leg of your own bike ride!

truly fantastic coffee
They’ve got a ton of really nice bikes and gear in here too!
ohhh yeahhhhhh
Our pair of bikes on the stand outside like cool people

So while Meteor was the destination, the downtown area of Bentonville that is the last leg of the ride is also very interesting.  It’s a vibrant city square with mountain bike trails at nearly every corner and sculptures and murals hidden on almost every street.

Turtle
I’ve realized I really like turtles….
