Thunderball grotto is a super cool cave at staniel cay famous for its inclusion in the 1965 James Bond film Thunderball. (Hence the name!) It’s a tourist attraction now. We tried to go early in the morning before the tour boats showed up but the current was way too strong so we had to reschedule for later in the day and predictably there were a few tour boats, tenders from the mega yachts, and a handful of other dinghies. So it was crowded in there but still very cool to see. It’s a large dome on the inside with holes in the top to let light through and lots of fish in the water unlike the caves at Rocky Dundas from a few days ago.
