Jason and I have been waking up and going for walks around the island that end up on the beach. One morning it was fantastic. The tide was out so there were strings of sandbars broken up by bright blue clear water! Super cool!
Unfortunately, even though it’s so small this island isn’t very good for pedestrians. Apparently every single person here has a car or golf cart and they drive them around everywhere they go! We rarely saw other people out walking and had to wait a few minutes to cross the street because of all the traffic. It’s a little strange!
One unexpected danger of living amongst the tropical islands is…. falling coconuts! This hammock strung up in the shade sure was tempting, but you have to put your feet on the coconut end!
