Today was kind of a lost day for me.  I did a few little things on the boat, but can’t actually recall anything of any importance that I did. I guess we did get a ridiculous amount of stuff done yesterday, so I can have one unproductive day!

Sunshine selfie!

While poking around the boat (as is my way…) I found that the main ground cable to the alternator had a crack in the sheathing.  When I cut it away I realized that the entire cable is corroded, nearly in half.  Looks like we’re getting a new cable! This could have started a fire!

NOPE!

I also put a few of the hoses back on the engine.  I can’t finish this project until I have the turbo ready to install, so half an hour later and I’m done.  Still…it’s progress!  I also need to get a few more feet of hose to connect the coolant line to the overflow container.  The current length is too short and keeps the door from opening fully!  When I removed the line, it was just dangling in the engine bay.  I want to reinstall it correctly and bought some stainless bolts and rubber coated hooks.  Now it’ll be out of the way AND look bling!

Yep that’s fancy!

Jason, on the other hand, actually got quite a bit done on the mast.  He installed the new light, removed a bunch of the other lights and equipment and ran the new cable for the radar!

New light.
Bunch of crap on top of the mast

We came home to a stack of boxes in front of the door, so I’m assuming we will have more projects to work on tomorrow!
