After the disappointment of discovering all the extra work we’ll have to do with the fiberglass repairs, it was really motivational to finally see some improvement on the inside of the boat.  At this point I have most of the storage lockers deep cleaned and the front half of the boat cleaned.  Because the boat was just sitting out in the hot sun baking in the humidity and also because of some water damage (superficial only) to the interior wood, the boat just looked dingy and gross.  After a thorough cleaning and shining the wood up a bit with cleaner and wax, she’s really starting to look like the classy yacht she should have been! (The busted screen in the hatch isn’t helping her appeal. That’s on my list!)

Still a little more to go through and put away.
Starboard side
It has a little fold down laptop table! I’ve not seen this in another boat before!

Seat in the master bedroom
Master bedroom closet. More than enough room for swimsuits and flip flops!
The upper part of this bulkhead needs the veneer repaired or just painted. We will see. I might be able to save it.
Master bed! It’s a queen size with rounded corners!
So much storage under the bed….
The table folds down from the wall. This is where people keep their wine. Maybe I’ll put my coffee syrup in it.
and when friends come to visit, everyone can sit at the table! also makes a nice big platform for sewing repairs on sails and whatnot.
The little peninsula is where the batteries are stored and next to that is the navigation station.

Aside from the cleaning and whatnot, we also decided to remove the propane system from the boat.  Jason wants an electric induction cooktop and it will be nice to have one less system to maintain, let alone one less system that can explode or kill us with gas. So we went ahead and ripped out the gas stove and microwave (cause it was gross anyway).

Done!
This little thing is surprisingly heavy.
We had a productive day so we rewarded ourselves with BBQ for dinner!
