Jason and I tried to go to the boat on Tuesday, but the dark storm clouds made it to where we could barely see inside the boat even with head lamps! We quickly gave up and went home.  It rained all day Wednesday as well, but we managed to get a few hours of work done on the boat. Jason made a panel to mount the flush controller for the aft toilet and also the holding tank level gauge!

Looks pretty slick in there. Eventually I’ll be painting this entire space, so it might match more…

After he finished that, I cleaned up the wiring and routed it inside the cabinet.  All that’s left now is to hook the power up to the 12V panel on the boat.

Nice little bus bar
That’s as good as it’s going to get
DONE!

That was pretty much the only real work we’ve gotten done recently while waiting for parts, breaking other parts, and then waiting on those to come in! *BUT* we did get our new solar panels!  There are 3 of them and they’re 375 watts each!

At the shipping facility
Inches to spare in the back of the 4Runner!

Can’t wait to see these bad boys mounted on the back of the boat!

Rainy Florida day….

I also need some suggestions! I have this little 12×7 hole in the kitchen cabinet that used to house the generator control panel.  That’s been scrapped, but I don’t know whether to just fill this in with wood and be done, or make some sort of tilt out cabinet for… something? I’m not sure what I would even put in there? flash lights? flares? It’s only about 3″ deep.  Anyone have a suggestion?

This should be something….

In my rounds of internet stalking I came across a photo on an old blog of our boat with the previous owner! At one point in time she floated!

So Majestic!
