It only took us the morning of our last day to finish the final clean on the boat and button everything back up properly with the expectation that it would be another few months before we would be back down in Florida.  The interior actually sparkles now and the musty smell is mostly gone.  We found a lot of things that we want to fix and change, but we also found out how much we like this boat!  I love the layout.  It already feels like home!

Finally an acceptable picture of the navigation station!

She will look 10x better once I refinish the varnish on the floor!
2 sofas so Jason and I can lounge at the same time!
I used to hate this table design, but it leaves so much floor space if you need it!
Looking aft

There’s a lot of stuff in our storage shed…. Hopefully we can go through it all and get rid of the shed in a few months.
We covered the top with as many tarps as we could. some of the windows need to be re-sealed.
Peeking through the other boats to say goodbye!

What did we learn on this trip? Mostly, we have to stay organized and not lose where we have all of our stuff stored. This boat will hold a LOT of gear and I can only imagine how hard it’s going to be to find that one special whatever that we know we have but can’t find. We also found a lot of things that we want to upgrade and fix.  From big things like the entire sewage system including the toilets, to small things like re-sealing some of the windows that leak and fixing the window screens.  Lets just say that our to-do list spans multiple pages at this point, but we did also manage to further narrow down our shopping list for potential parts and either choose the exact model of the thing that we need so we can find it on sale, or realize we definitively do or don’t need some other thing.  It was a very productive trip and I can’t wait to get back down here to really start fixing her up for cruising!
