I already chronicled our hike to the top of Booboo Hill at Warderick Wells in a previous post, however the top of the hill was so cool it deserved more attention!  The top has a 360* view of the ocean and surrounding islands where people bring pieces of driftwood and all types of ornaments with their names and their boat’s name to commemorate their voyage! We went to a similar place like this in the Canadian Gulf Islands.  I hastily carved a piece of driftwood with the name of our sailboat to add to the pile.  We didn’t add anything here because it’s a charter boat and I don’t think it counts… I’ll have them ready to go when we return with our own boat! 🙂 (hey, boat crafts, right?)

Pile of rubbish
Who has that much paint on their boat?
Empty bottle of rum?
It was a really big pile!
So many people’s different memories…

LOL

Not a very big island!
Conch shell! I never did find one…
Nice view!
Conch on a stake
Hummingbird!

So many colors!
Shot through a fan

If we had more time I could have easily spent a few hours up here with my macro lens just shooting all of the boat names, paint colors, and random trinkets in the pile!
