I admitted in our meet and greet on day 1 of my photography workshop with Bryan Peterson in Vancouver that I’m a lazy photographer.  I don’t like to get up for sunrises and I don’t like to wait around for sunsets.  I usually just make do with whatever lighting I happen to have at the time, but since we were all here to soak up as much knowledge as possible, we shot allllll day long.  This included staying up until 10 at night with the group in Stanley Park so we could shoot the sunset over downtown Vancouver.

It was totally worth it! 🙂 These were some of my favorite shots of the trip!

Blue hour
Reflections in the water
Playing with the camera and shutter speeds. I like how this made the buildings look ghosted.
My favorite shot! 🙂

Maybe I could commit to sunsets if I had an afternoon nap?
