I feel like we spent a lot of time yesterday sitting in the camper and staring at the galley trying to figure out how to get the cabinets to work.  It paid off because we hit the ground running today!

This is the platform for the stove
hole marked for the sink
it fits! It’s an undermount, so we need to clean up the edges of the cut and stain the counter again.
stove in place and propane locker area to the right.
cutting the face plate for the propane locker
Countertop set in place for testing purposes
built in sink cover!
This will be hinged
Nice flat countertop when everything is in place!
Another shot of the galley so far.
Now i can drill the hole for the faucet and install the sink drain!
There’s the sink and the faucet just behind
I had to drill out the hole to fit the special low profile drain I bought
that’ll clear up a lot of room!
There we go! we’ll install an access door on the outside to get to our little propane tanks.
Remember I said I loved the truck bed bar? We bought another one. It looks like it’s better in every way.
Installing another shelf support piece
Shelf installed!
Added a divider panel to the small storage area. Don’t know what I’m going to put in there…
Test fit the battery just in case. It works awesome!
cutting some more cabinet support pieces out of burly 3/4″ plywood
installing the shelf supports for the aft part of the galley
Installing the rest of the aft galley compartment cabinet support pieces!

It was a busy and productive day! The galley is really starting to come together, which means that the camper is starting to feel like a legitimate thing instead of just a fancy shell that we’ve spent all summer building! 😉 Someday soon we will be able to close the roof and lock the camper up at night!
