“Spring” may be a bit of exaggeration, but still… there’s no snow and the rain has mostly stopped. That counts up here in Washington!  I wanted to go on a photo adventure and hoped that the Thelar Wetlands would be full of spring flowers.  Unfortunately, it will still be a few weeks before the flowers start to show up, but the few cherry trees were blooming anyway!

This was also an excuse to get my Zeiss 55mm F1.8 lens back out.  It’s sat forlornly in the bag for the past few months as I played with my vintage lens collection.  However I do miss my autofocus sometimes so it was time to relearn how this lens behaves.
