This post isn’t going to be about what you think.  😉 Somehow in the land of checked baggage and overweight fees etc, we found room to bring along our 12v powered LED underwater light.  We tossed that into the water just to see what would show up underneath the boat.  It started with some tiny little things and eventually we had a school of bait fish.  By the end of the night we had multiple stingrays and a few little black tip reef sharks all hanging out underneath our boat.  I initially thought that bringing this light was probably one of the stupidest things Jason could have wanted to bring, but I was completely wrong.  It was so entertaining just to sit on the back of the boat and watch all the critters swim around!

I shoved my camera into the dive housing and Jason (because he has long arms) put it under the water and we got some pictures! They’re super grainy and shitty because, while there was light, there wasn’t enough for the camera to really be happy about it.

Seriously, it’s like watching a lava lamp or something with all the rays and sharks and fish swimming around.
