So the topic of this photo challenge that I’m amazingly still doing is “animal.”

Since it’s summer and the house doesn’t have air conditioning, mom has started an afternoon ritual of drinking a beer outside on the patio.  Well, my black cat hates not being where the people are and would whine to be let outside. Eventually mom constructed a barrier using our old crab pots and the cat has started laying on the patio with her while she drinks her beer.  It’s the most hilarious thing. He will now pitch a fit any time anyone goes outside for any reason and begs to be let out so he can lay in the shade and flop his little tail around. It’s going to break his heart when winter hits and he can’t go outside anymore. I think he hates rain more than he likes his Miller-time.

He hates it when I leave the patio enclosure and he’s still inside.

I recently had a moment that can only be summed up with the hashtag: #THISISWHYWEREBROKE.  I found both of the camera lenses that I’ve been looking at for a great deal online… so good of a deal that I bought them both! 😮 I’m now in possession of a legitimate fisheye lens.  They’re hard to use because there’s more shit in the photo and usually that shit is boring or unattractive.  I mostly wanted it for underwater and for epic mountain biking photos. So that’s where I went first. (underwater takes considerably more planning and I hate planning).  They didn’t turn out quite like I wanted, but I’m ok with it considering it was my first time out with it.  Also my friends are mountain biking animals. 😉 so it fits the theme!
