So last week was just a weird week all around for me… We spent so much time working on the land and going biking that I just didn’t have time to take a photo for the photo challenge. Yeah, I coulda half-assed something, but that’s not the point. So I decided that putting #5 and #6 in the same post would work out great and really show the difference in photos between high and low angles.
Last weekend we went to the Seattle Supercross to watch a bunch of really fast dudes rip it up on motorcycles. It was Jessica’s first time at a race, so she had a blast. It was awesome! Our seats were up in the “procrastinators” section and are all therefore lovely examples of high angle photos!
The race was awesome even though I don’t really follow supercross anymore. and now I want a motorcycle again. Drats!
We took our boat to Seattle instead of riding the ferry, which was a ton of fun and allowed us to arrive and (most importantly!) leave whenever we wanted to! So we walked around downtown for a bit and then got dinner at Wild Ginger. I got more low angle photos while walking around, because, lets face it, I’m pretty short, so most of my shots are low angle… 😉
The following photos also illustrate why I decided to take my time with this photo challenge. Because otherwise you just get pictures of my cats. I promise I’m not a crazy cat lady. My plan was to put the pineapple on the ground and get a neat picture of the leaves on top of it, but you can’t set anything on the floor around cats. My black cat really likes to eat leaves. He’s an idiot.
