Today was Father’s Day and what better present for him than to be featured on my blog! (HA! just kidding… )

Dad has a collection of little Buddha statues on his nightstand.  They’ve just turned into something small and easy to find when I’m out traveling or at the thrift store or whatever, so he has quite a few now.  Since I also have an Amazon-Prime problem I found him a really cute one on there. 😉

So happy, right? This was shot on my kitchen counter.
An alternate angle of the same little dude.
One of his cat buddhas that I probably found in Japan somewhere.

When I was a kid dad would always go golfing on the weekends.  I can’t remember now if it was Saturday or Sunday but it was pretty regular and he would always come back smelling like grass. (and sweat, but that’s less endearing).  Either way for some reason I now associate the smell of freshly cut grass with my dad, even though I actually hate golf.

Here’s our house too. We need to mow.

I’m starting to think that spending time with me after the parents moved into our house wasn’t my dad’s favorite part…it was the fact that he now has cats to play with at all times of the day.  They used to be very well mannered animals and now they’re spoiled rotten.  The grey one begs all the time and they both spend all day sleeping on the parents’ bed upstairs. Little shits!

So hard to photograph.
Begging again. isn’t he cuuuuuuute?!?!!? He knows it too…
This one might be the favorite… out of all of us. 😉
