After this post I’m finally all caught up after a month of extreme busy laziness! Huzzah!  For this week’s challenge, Rashell and I went down to the Thelar Wetlands trails in Belfair, WA.  This place has been on our list for a long time, but we just hadn’t been able to make it until now.  I really didn’t know what to expect besides wetlands and hopefully some birds to take pictures of.  I know only a little further South there are always bald eagles flying around so I was hoping for at least some cranes.  Unfortunately the only wildlife we found here were tiny and exceedingly fast swallows and a few geese.  Actually a bit disappointing. We did remember to bring our big zoom lenses, but the swallows were all realistically a bit too far away.  I think we got some nice shots, but I don’t think I’ll bother going back. Better luck next time I suppose!
