It turns out when I have my camera sitting there on the tripod I tend to get a little more creative with techniques than usual. (hey, that’s good to know!) In addition to the little bit of HDR that I played with, I also attempted “light painting.” Light painting uses long shutter speeds coupled with light in motion to capture streaks of light in the photo. Jason actually really enjoys long exposure photos and gets a kick out of the different ways he can make them. Most of these photos were made by handing him a flashlight and having him scurry down a long dark hallway. 😉 (no ankles were twisted in the making of these pictures!)
