So, I find myself in Waikiki again on one of my infamous work trips. (I know, life is so hard for me…) However due to the occasionally oppressive humidity and lingering issues from my motorcycle crash I really didn’t do a whole lot of exploring this time. Which is unfortunate, but shit happens. Jessica and I went on a few meandering walks around oceanfront Waikiki and, like the creeper that I secretly am, I brought my camera to every group outing. Lots of food photos and general random shenanigans.
We went to the Kona Brewing Company twice. I had the Cuban sandwich the first time and a kickass burger the second time. All of the food was excellent. They have a few pages of beer as well that were reportedly also very tasty.
Here are the rest of the photos from along the boardwalk in Waikiki. In no particular order.
One new thing we discovered this trip (or finally stopped to investigate…) turned out to be the War Memorial. It was completed in 1927 and was meant to be a public swimming pool, but has fallen into disrepair. Interesting structure nonetheless.
