The city in Japan that I blog about the most is Yokosuka because we come here for work.  However, until this trip I had never made it to Yokohama even though it’s only a few stops on the train north of here.  One of my friends is living there for a few months so we all piled onto the train (didn’t get lost!) and went to visit and wander around on a sunny Sunday afternoon.

There are way more bicycles in Yokohama. It seems to be the main mode of transportation.

These were just the photos from around town.  We went to a hot rod café and Chinatown as well. It was a busy day with a lot of walking!  I found Yokohama, even though it’s a large city, to be quieter than Yokosuka.  There is less of an American presence there.  I wouldn’t mind going back to continue aimlessly meandering around to take pictures.
