Apparently aside from the aforementioned delicious Dole Whip treat, the side attractions were more interesting to me than the actual Dole Plantation! At the side of the little pineapple viewing area there is a rather large pond filled with Koi and a vending machine to buy koi kibbles.  These fish have obviously been fed quite a bit as they all congregated by the edge of their little pond right below the observation area.  Once the food hit the water they went crazy writhing along the surface with the occasional fish completely out of the water supported by the layers of fish below! We stayed there watching them for way longer than any of us care to admit. It was a pretty exciting show!
