Since we’re considering trading our sailboat in on a larger poweryacht and the wooden ones are a great value we thought it would be a good idea to check out the wooden boat festival in Port Townsend.  Just seemed relevant, yaknow? We ended up getting a lot of good first hand opinions and information about the care and maintenance of wood boats etc.  Definitely a worthwhile trip.  There were also quite a few lovely old wooden boats there as well.
