Jason has been on a big Baja Beetle kick lately so we decided to drive up to Eureka Springs this morning for the huge yearly VW Festival.  This has apparently been going on for over 30 years so it was well timed for our research purposes! I haven’t been to a car show in forever and the VW thing is completely new to me!  There was everything from camper vans, restored cars, baja bugs, manx buggies, to rat rods! Very cool!

After wandering around and seeing all the cars we drove to downtown Eureka Springs and walked around there for a bit.  It’s such a fun, artsy place that there’s always something going on and new things to see!

Pretty good use of a saturday morning!  We managed to get on the road back home before the rain started and got lucky enough to drive between the 2 big thunderstorms heading south so we only had a little bit of rain.
