We loaded up the camper this morning and drove up through town to the UPS Store to wait for our package.  Since it was cool, we walked down the street to a little coffee hut for an iced coffee (and smoothie) and breakfast burritos! Finally around 10:00 we were able to get our box and hit the road headed West! We passed a gigantic wildfire in the mountains, but luckily made it through quickly.

We finally hit the mountains after being in the plains for a long time.  A very different terrain for sure! Although once through the mountains we were, again, in a grassy plains area in eastern Washington.  In our quest to find cooler weather we decided to make today a driving day and drove until the sun started to set.  Our “camp” for the night was the truck rest stop in Winchester, WA.  Our little Oliver looked tiny nestled in between the big semi trucks, but we slept pretty well!
