Our destination after Barraterre was to finally head south to the Ragged Islands. Luckily for us, Barraterre is conveniently located next to a cut that takes us on the south side of Great Exuma Island. The usual route is head east out of Georgetown and then either all the way to Long Island or through a cut at the eastern end of the island. The route we chose is a lot easier and more direct but would make boats with more draft uncomfortable! It’s a little too far to go straight there so we headed towards Rocky Point instead. There’s nothing there and it’s not a place most people go, but it was actually an awesome spot to anchor. It would have made for some excellent foil boarding if Jason had been able to bring that this year!

This is Sorn! They will catch and pass us as soon as they get their sails up!
Amazing water color

The islands are full of scraggly rocks and mangrove trees but we went on a little adventure anyway!

Wading through the mangroves was messy and dumb. And we almost lost Shawn!
