Halfway through our second day we stopped at a waypoint where there were supposedly names carved in the rocks from explorers in the early 1900’s. We, unfortunately, didn’t find the old names because there were so many other names in the rocks. Kind of neat because there were still some old dates, but also I wish people would just leave things alone.
We found a nice spot to tie up the canoes for the night and make camp. I finally found the motivation to dig out my art stuff and do some paintings of our trip like I did on our previous Minnesota and Michigan road trip. Turns out that my little camp table and little camp chair are the perfect size!
