Doing a photoshoot with a mermaid has been on my “must shoot” list for literally years but it’s never worked out…until now!  I met Chermilla at Tanyard Creek (yes, Tanyard again, but I know the park so well and I was a little nervous!) and we hiked up to the main waterfall to start.  Luckily her boyfriend came with her to carry her tail because apparently they’re extremely heavy! Who knew? (well, *I* didn’t know…) It hadn’t rained in a long time so the water level was low enough that we could easily climb around on the rocks at the base of the waterfall, making moving around much easier than it otherwise would have been. We both had a blast and already have more shoots planned!
