I’m ashamed to admit how many years it’s been since I’ve visited an art museum.  Ever since we moved to northwest arkansas everyone has told us that we *absolutely have to* go to Crystal Bridges.   I fought it for a while because mountain biking just sounds way more fun, but since my parents were up visiting we decided to go check it out.  I will also admit that I vastly underestimated how huge this place is.  We didn’t even go inside this time just stayed outside on the main walking path trail but saw so many cool art installations.  My favorite part was the Skyspace.  It’s essentially a huge round concrete sitting area with a hole to the sky in the middle.  Apparently it changes colors at dawn and dusk.

After wandering around outside for a while we eventually headed home where we dropped off  the parents and went for a little mountain bike ride! (don’t worry, we didn’t actually do this crazy trail!)
