We would have liked to stay at Cat Island for longer and really explore it (we will be back!) but we have a lot of work we want to do to True North back in Florida and it’s time to slowly start making our way back. We bid farewell to Cat and sailed north around the southern tip of Eleuthera and all the cruise ship private islands to Governors harbor. Governors harbor is the first real town we’ve visited since Georgetown. I feel like it has a little more character as well with colorful historical houses, ball field in the town square, and the main road running right along the water. The anchorage was pretty roomy and sheltered the boat well from the high winds outside. Jason and I went for a walk through town and had amazing burritos at a food truck! There was real fresh crunchy lettuce! I haven’t had good lettuce in months! This was my favorite part of the town so far.
